Meet Billy Ferritti

Billy was born in Morgan City, Louisiana and grew up in the Cajun Heartlands of Acadiana. He is the second youngest of 5 siblings and was raised with a large extended family and strong family values. He was raised in a Christian household and was taught by his mother to always put God first.

After graduating high school in 1995, Billy went to work in the New Construction sector of the Oil and Gas Industry working for Seco Industries, a company responsible for outfitting oil platforms with Electrical and Pneumatic applications.

In 2001, after the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, Billy was devastated and compelled to answer the call in his heart to serve his country and enlist in the military. 2 days after the attacks, Billy enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and left for boot camp on November 28, 2001. Billy served 2 enlistments and deployed 3 times during the War in Iraq and once during the Haitian Conflict in 2004. Billy was proud to serve his country in the Marines and was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps on November 2, 2009. During his time in service to this country Billy learned a great lesson in service, teamwork, Esprit de Corps and love of country. He grew in character through deployments in wartime, training, education and travel. After ending his service in the Marine Corps, Billy went on to serve his country working for the government as a contractor training fellow active duty bomb technicians all over the world as part of their pre-deployment package. […]
